Leverage

A mechanism that lets traders control a much larger market position with a small amount of capital.

Leverage multiplies both the gains and the losses of a trade. 1:100 leverage means 1,000 EUR of capital controls a 100,000 EUR position. In forex, leverage ranges from 1:30 (EU retail) to 1:500 (offshore brokers). High leverage is not an advantage — it's merely permission to risk more. Sound risk management (max 2 % account risk per trade) matters far more than the maximum leverage available. Suna AI Vision sizes lots so your risk stays controlled regardless of leverage.

Example

10,000 EUR account, 1:500 leverage, 2 % risk, 30 pip stop on EUR/USD = 0.67 lots. Leverage allows it, risk sizing defines it.
